Licenses and terms of use of the Spatial Data Infrastructure of Prešov Region are divided into the following sections:
Licenses and terms of use for geopresovregion.sk website
Per default, content of the website (text, picture, etc.) is available under the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 CC-BY. Contents under specific license or terms of use are listed at the end of their pages.
Terms of use for geOrchestra
geOrchestra is a free, modular and interoperable Spatial Data Infrastructure software solution that meets INSPIRE requirements in Europe.
All geOrchestra modules are licensed under the GNU GPL v3 license except:
JASIG CAS – Apache License, verzia 2.0,
GeoNetwork & GeoServer – GPL v2,
GeoWebCache – LGPL.
Major libraries use a combination of Open Source licenses:
GeoTools – LGPL,
OpenLayers & GeoExt – štýl BSD,
ExtJS – GPL v3,
proj4js – MIT.
License and terms of use for metadata and data
The obligation related to metadata and data are based on:
- Act no. 618/2003 on copyright and copyright related rights (copyright law), under which it is necessary to protect the rights and legitimate interests of the author through a license agreement.
- Decree 55/2014 Coll., According to which the data must be provided in an open manner allowing for free re-use of information with legal support.
- Act no. 211/2000 on Free Access to Information and on Amendments to Certain Laws (Freedom of Information Act) §5a §21, which defines the mandatory disclosure of information not subject to copyright law as well as other information reusing information.
- Act no. 3/2010 Z.z. on National Infrastructure for Spatial Information, which defines in Section 3 1a a higher territorial unit as a mandatory person in the area of ensuring the availability of spatial data and metadata §4 and §5.
All data and metadata provided through geopresovregion.sk have their own license with a majority under Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 CC0 and CC-BY licenses. For details on license, please refer to the data itself.
If the author of the data is the PSK, data should be under Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 CC0.
