The Pre\u0161ov Self \u2013 Governing Region in cooperation with University of Pre\u0161ov are participating on activities towards the creation of regional spatial information structure. The solution is based on building a\u00a0comprehensive database of high-quality and up-to-date open data. The aim of the platform is to bring high-quality knowledge of region, effective information exchange among institutions and simple view on important information to the public, municipalities, academic or private sector.<\/p>\n<p>We strive to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>collecting and publishing high-quality spatial information,<\/li>\n<li>publishing metadata information,<\/li>\n<li>providing information referenced by other levels, (through metadata)<\/li>\n<li>extending platform with other partners thus buliding data connections in the region.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The administration, development and partnerships of the Geo-Infrastructure of the Pre\u0161ov Region are coordinated and ensured by the Office of the Pre\u0161ov Self-Governing Region through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.po-kraj.sk\/sk\/samosprava\/urad\/zamestnanci-uradu\/?podla=odbor&amp;odbor=Odbor+strategickeho+rozvoja+a+projektoveho+riadenia&amp;oddelenie=oddelenie+in%C5%A1tit%C3%BAt+rozvoja+PSK&amp;priezvisko=&amp;btnSubmit=H%C4%BEada%C5%A5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Department of Development Institute of PSK<\/a> in the Department of Strategic Development and Project Management in cooperation with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipo.sk\/fakulta-humanitnych-prirodnych-vied\/katedry\/geografia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Department of Geography and Applied Geoinformatics of<\/a> University of Pre\u0161ov.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to the Geoinfrastructure platform of Pre\u0161ov region, a common place for all geodata The Geo-Infrastructure Platform of the Pre\u0161ov Region was created as a\u00a0part of the Catching-up Regions initiative with support of the European Commission, the World Bank and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Investment and Informatization.
